Power Thought #1 – I Will Not Be Confused by Diet Myths and Diet Confusion / Calorie Deficit is non-negotiable
Firstly we need to dispel myths surrounding weight loss. There is science on both sides of most diets these days that says it’s not a great idea and science that says it is a good idea. In addition, certain diets are just not suitable for certain people. For example, some folk cannot go through a morning without eating something and others cannot bring themselves to eating high fat foods given long-held beliefs or health advice – for these reasons intermittent fasting is a tough ask for some. There are, however, some universal nutritional and diet truths and I have tried to distill some of these in this book. The fundamental non-negotiable central idea for fat loss is a calorie deficit.
