✨Q: How many calories do you eat in a day?⁣A:🤷‍♀️⁣⁣Q: How much do you weigh?⁣A: 🤷‍♀️⁣⁣What are your macros?⁣A:🤷‍♀️⁣⁣💡Calories, macros, bodyweight… These things are single indicators in a person’s health journey, but are often put on the highest pedestal, with the exact number being the focal point rather than big picture habit change.⁣⁣It can feel scary or challenging to think differently about eating habits when you’re used to having exactness or rigid rules to follow.⁣⁣Here’s the thing… Knowledge is powerful and it’s important to always be learning and growing, but when it comes to eating habits, so may people get locked into the itsy bitsy details of what feels exact and tangible, even if it drives them crazy.⁣⁣If your diet is driving you crazy, maybe it’s time to zoom out to start practicing the bigger picture.⁣⁣💛People often put so much pressure on themselves to be perfect in their nutrition. If that is you, it doesn’t have to feel that way forever.⁣
