✨IF YOU FEEL DOWN FROM COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS…THIS IS FOR YOU👇❤️✨sometimes it can be hard to navigate posting your wins (not wanting other people to feel bad) and your tough stuff (not wanting to be a downer). I wanted to share it here as a post because I thought it might be helpful: Social media is a challenging thing to navigate. I feel that every single day. No matter what we post, some people will not resonate. It’s just a part of being a human on the internet. It’s so so so important for all of us to remember that this journey is not a race or a comparison game. Things like fitness challenges are truly about each one of us an individual doing something wonderful for ourselves while in a supportive community. We are each in our own chapter, working to improve our health a little bit each day and we have each other to lean on throughout all of it.In fitness support groups (and social media in general) if you put out a post full of positivity, someone may feel bad if they’re having a bad day, but that’s not about you, it’s about them feeling frustrated with where they are at. It’s ok to have tough days and we are here to support people through that. For others, your posts may be the only thing that keeps them going for that day because they need to be encouraged and motivated by your hard work. The most important things here are that this is not a race, we only do this for ourselves – you vs. you. We can celebrate the victories of others because we are all on a team. When our teammates thrive, we thrive. Always be mindful of two things: Be kind to others. Be true to yourself. We will all look different, have unique abilities and individualized goals, but we can help lift each other up in the process. Don’t dim your light. Help bring others into it and we can all shine brightly together.❤️
Keep at it! Proud of each and every one of you👊
