MOTIVATION
How do you create that happy medium in your fitness, a type of balance where you move frequently, but don’t feel guilty for taking days off?
There’s not necessarily a simple answer to that, but there’s a simple question that can help dig deeper to figure out what that looks like for you.
The question is… WHY?
WHY do you want to workout?
WHY do you want to eat healthier?
WHY do you want to find more motivation?
Your first instinctual answer may be something like, “I want to lose weight/tone up.” Ok, why?
Keep digging deeper and ask again. Maybe you will think more deeply and realize, “Ok, I want to tone up, but it’s because I want to be more confident.”
Keep asking yourself this even if it feels uncomfortable and you’ll be surprised with the thoughts that open up.
Understanding more of your “why” can help boost motivation because you will understand the root of what you are really wanting.
