The 16th century saint Teresa of Avila, ended one of her most famous prayers with this line, “Patience attains all things.”
When I read this it changed my relationship with patience. I’m not always patient, but when I feel impatience rise up in me an alarm goes off in me that says, take a few deep breaths and connect with what’s causing you to feel this impatience Debbie. And then I remember, “Patience attains all things.”🙏💛
