💡How many times have you heard any of the following👇
“I’m vegan. I’m paleo. I’m gluten-free. I’m keto. I’m a flexible dieter/IIFYM, etc.”
You are more than just what you eat. Your identity doesn’t have to be a diet.
This may sound like semantics, but the idea actually runs a lot deeper than you may think.
A lot of people’s worth can become tied up in dieting labels that then feed on their well-being. It can lead to rigidity and feelings of failure if you eat outside the scope of the diet.
This idea can be true for so many things, like career for example. Lots of people get consumed by what they DO, letting that become their identity.
Just like you are more than what you do as a career, you are so much more than what you eat. Food for thought…and thoughts on food🙃
