✨Have you made progress, but not reached your goal? It can feel frustrating if you haven’t reached the big goal yet, but here’s what you can do to not get discouraged. I had a client make an amazing point about this in the hiitburn challenge group.💛She expressed how people tend to downplay their accomplishments and how we need to celebrate EVERY win along the way.👉Do you tend to downplay your accomplishments? When it comes to health and fitness, it could be things like:
✖️I can do more push ups, but I still can’t do 20.
✖️I’ve lost a couple cm’s around my waist, but I still don’t see abs.
✖️I feel so much more energized with how I’m eating during the week, but I totally screwed everything up this weekend.
It’s easy to disregard progress when you still feel like you have a ways to go. However, my client was completely right! Even the seemingly smallest improvements are worth celebrating. It becomes about so much more than how your body looks. It’s about how it feels, performs, how you view yourself overall, and that progress means you’re moving in the right direction. Your day-to-day is then founded in gratitude allowing you to be more motivated + consistent, which in turn, brings better results over time.
