✨Are you terrified of certain foods?⁣⁣A lot of people feel fear and/or anxiety when it comes to eating certain foods. ⁣⁣When people experience those feelings, they’ll often avoid these foods or cut them out completely. ⁣⁣This is a very slippery slope. Food avoidance may seem like a simple solution, but it not only can lead to disordered habits, but it really can mess with your mind and create even MORE fear and anxiety.⁣⁣💡If you get super defensive about your choices, take a step back and think about why you’re reacting that way. ⁣⁣It’s hard to take a look at yourself that way (thinking that it’s everyone else just judging your choices), but it can be really powerful to uncover detrimental restrictions and habits.⁣⁣Food avoidance out of fear isn’t the answer. You don’t have to live in fear of food. ⁣⁣💛Making peace with food will allow you the clarity to understand how to eat mindfully, so that mindfulness AND flexibility become intuitive.⁣
