Debbie’s Tips #189

Things to not apologize for:
1️⃣Setting boundaries that are right for you.
You don’t have to be everything for everyone. It’s ok to prioritize your needs.
2️⃣Eating what is best for your body and/or mind (whether it’s nutritious or not).
Judgement of food choices can be challenging to navigate, but keep in mind that there are no food choices that are inherently “right or wrong.”
3️⃣Wearing clothes you like (regardless of body type, body fat %, or any other perceived deterrent).
Clothes are such a cool way to express yourself. Your body is art and art doesn’t have boundaries.
4️⃣Believing in your ability to learn, grow, and reach your goals and dreams.
It’s amazing when can happen when you have belief paired with hard work, and a little bit of luck. Keep going.
Other people might not like your boundaries and choices. They might voice unsolicited opinions and that can feel frustrating or even hurtful.
I just went to encourage you to keep practicing because the reward of prioritizing your well being and quality of life is worth the work.
I have 1000% skewed on the side of being too apologetic in my life (I’m too effing nice sometimes and I know it lol), but I am proud to say I’ve made a ton of progress😊

Do any of these ring true for you? Let me know!👊💛
