Debbie’s Tips #143

✨Haven’t worked out in a while? Here are 2 ways to get started again🙂👇⁣⁣1️⃣Start slow. It still COUNTS!⁣⁣Sometimes, people are “all in or all out” thinking that if you don’t get in a specific length of workout every day of the week it “doesn’t count,” so they don’t end up doing anything at all.⁣⁣If getting in an hour long or even a half hour of a workout feels daunting, set a timer for 10 minutes and just move. ⁣⁣It could be a walk, stretching, some push ups and squats, or something like a @hiitburn workout! ⁣⁣Bring some rain to that drought and just start moving. ⁣⁣You can always kick it up a notch the next day to keep your streak going. 10 minutes of movement counts!⁣⁣2️⃣Set a realistic schedule ⁣⁣Again, it’s easy to have an all or nothing mindset. If it’s not realistic to train 5x per week, start with 4 or 3 or 2. ⁣⁣Just like earlier, it still counts! It will help you get back in the groove and rebuilding the habit.⁣⁣💛A bonus third tip… Give yourself a little grace as you get back into it.⁣⁣It’s ok if you used to be stronger. ⁣It’s ok if you were in better shape back then.⁣⁣Starting now is one step closer to being stronger and feeling like yourself again.⁣⁣Take off the pressure to be perfect and just move. You won’t regret it.🙃
